"A Syrian poetess in exile found a captivating jewel of an oriental jazz quartet with oud, clarinets, tarhu and percussion to accompany her solemn and haunted words that are thrown in the face of the world. Their creation is called Faces. Maram Al Masri reads her poems in Arabic with the subtitles projected on a scenography designed by Nicolas Crespo. Beyond a concert, a show, and poems, Faces is an immersive experience.”
